Published Sept. 2020

*This title is a continuation of Dark Leopards MC East Texas Chapter* The East Texas Chapter stories should be read in order.

If you love lawless bikers, protective mates, and justice of the vigilante sort, then one-click your copy today!

My name is Stonewall, I’m the Treasurer for The Dark Leopards MC East Texas Chapter. I’ve finally found my place in the world within the Dark Leopards MC, but someone wants me to dead. I’m not even safe inside our clubhouse when they send another assassin for me. Only this assassin is more than I bargained for. She’s my mate.
When Kamaria’s sister finds herself in trouble, again, Kamaria is forced to work for the people who have her sister. She knew getting into the clubhouse was going to take some creativity. What she wasn’t expecting was to find her mate. Destiny isn’t being very fair asking her to choose between her sister’s safety, and her own happiness.

May be spoilers:

His Light in the Darkness is the 5th in the Dark Leopards MC East Texas Chapter series. It has 19 chapters with no epilogue and is about Stonewall and Kamaria.

Stonewall, I remember from the previous book as Angel’s cat hurt him. Now they are best friends.

Kamaria is an assassin and has been hired to kill Stonewall to protect her sister.

Now, I liked Stonewall, he was very sweet and adorable. However, he was written as weak and I like an alpha-type hero.

Kamaria, she seemed stronger of the two and more protective of him.

They know they are mates right off the bat, but he doesn’t feel he’s worthy.

I wasn’t a fan of the first part where she meets The Kid.

They were cute together. Just read like she was older and just meant to take care of him.

The story isn’t finished as Stonewall finds out who keeps sending assassins to kill him and they deal with that, but they haven’t found her sister.

It was a good story, like, it read very well. It’s just, I like a more alpha hero and I like a complete story.

I did like seeing Wraith and Angel again. Angel is awesome.

No cheating, no real ow/om drama, no separations-it’s only a couple days together, no epilogue.

So, I’m a sucker for an epilogue and this one didn’t have it. Hopefully, we’ll see more of where they are at in the rest of the series.

Good read.

I gave it 🌟🌟🌟. Have you read it? What did you think?

Goodreads shelves: faithful-since-meeting, fast-read, hfn, mates, no-cheating-between-mcs, no-push-pull, no-real-ow-om-drama, no-separations, no-sex-scenes-with-ow-om, read, safe-for-me, shifters
