Atticus Nelson is one flat-out, do not mess with him badass. He’s a take-no-prisoners kind of man, one who is known for his brusque, almost abrasive personality. What no one knows, not even his brothers, is he’s lonely. He wants what their parents had before their mom left, but with his lifestyle, it doesn’t seem possible.

Until her.

The night he went in to hunt down the senator for Law, a member of the RGMC, he met Piper Carsden. The broken and bloodied woman he finds shackled to the wall calls to him in some undefinable way. Unable to leave her behind, he takes her with him, not looking for anything more than a night once she heals from the torture she’s endured.

When it becomes evident that she’s in danger, Atticus uses the skills that he and his brothers have to try and eliminate the threat.

Will he succeed in ridding her from the evil that’s haunted her for years so they can build on a night of passion the likes of which neither has ever experienced? Or will he lose his chance at happily ever after?

This is book one in the Nelson Brothers Trilogy.

Purchase at you own risk! There are torture scenes, talks of abuse and sexual content. If you are not 18yrs + please do not purchase a copy of this.

May be spoilers:

Seeking Our Revenge is the 1st in the Nelson Brothers series. It has 15 chapters with an epilogue and is about Atticus and Piper.

This story happens after Law. Law asks for help and the brothers go after the Senator that hurt Emma and killed her mother.

Atticus and his brothers, we’ve seen them briefly in the Rebel Guardians MC series. They do what is needed and aren’t worried if it’s illegal.

I love getting to know the brothers.

Piper is in a hell of her own. She’s been kidnapped and has to do whatever they want of her so that she keeps her little sister safe.

They meet when Atticus goes underground for the senator and finds and rescues her.

Love their bantering back and forth. Instaconnection even though they both try to fight it.

Piper is definitely not a weakling. I did wish that she wasn’t so hard in the beginning. She’s rescued and immediately starts throwing attitude. Some parts are a little immature between the 2 of them.

Lots of violence and torture scenes.

Steam hits about the halfway point.

Neither are virgins. She’s trying to get him to fall for her as she’s all in with him.

So, I really liked this one. Reads fast and easy. I just didn’t like the immaturity, but it was still a great read.

This was a story of them getting together and figuring each other out, dealing with the senator and finding her sister.

I loved the brothers’ interactions with Piper. Pretty funny in parts.

No cheating, no ow/om drama, short separation-they weren’t together but still in the house together.

Epilogue is a set up for Jonas’ story. I do wish that we had seen further out, but sure we’ll see them in the next stories. At the end, they are just getting married and are pregnant.

I gave it ❤❤❤½ . Have you read it? What did you think?
