Blurb: Jefferson is a grumpy COO working for his father’s company. He has no time for drama. So when his Personal Assistant quits on him without his knowledge while he’s away on business, he’s in for quite a shock to find the curvy temptress in his office ready to assist him.

Belle wants to support her child and give him a good life. When she’s given the opportunity she’s been dying to have she’s ecstatic. The only problem is her boss is a jerk and the sexiest man she’s ever laid eyes on.

*Please note that ‘Red, White & Mine’ is part of the ‘Falling on the Fourth’ series, each one of the 4 novellas focuses only on one couple and there are no cliffhangers so the books can be read in any order and also as standalones.

May be spoilers:

Red, White & Mine is the 3rd in the Falling on the Fourth series. Each is a standalone. Has 9 chapters and an epilogue and is about Jefferson and Belle.

They meet when Belle is hired as Jefferson’s personal assistant.

It takes over half of the story before they get together. I love that he’s not hesitant at all with her son. Neither are virgins. They both have been celibate for years.

Her son’s father is not in the picture as he’s in prison for hurting her and taking her son. We don’t hear about his exes.

Good read, I thought. I love short stories. I do love stories with more steam, but it was still a good read. I think it was only 1 sex scene.

No cheating, no ow/om drama, no trying to make the other jealous, no separations.

Epilogue is a couple months out, then 7 years later. They are happily married and have 4 kids and are pregnant. Very cute with no drama.

I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. Thanks for reading. Hope you check it out.
