Jade:

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I came back to my small hometown in east Texas, but it certainly wasn’t the tall, chiseled, too handsome ranch foreman, Noah. I never thought I’d be back here after moving to Denver four years ago, but when I got the call that my daddy died unexpectedly, it was up to me to tie up loose ends and sell the ranch. Except the ranch is a mess and Noah keeps hanging around and checking on me and wiping away my tears as I work through the complicated emotions of being back home. Home. I remember Jade from when I first started working at Rivera Ranch four years ago. She had her reasons for leaving, though I don’t know what they are. I’m determined to find out all of her secrets, including whatever she’s running from back in Denver. She might not be ready for a cowboy like me, but I’ll help her fight through her demons and prove to her we belong together.

Her Rugged Cowboy is the first book in the Roped in by Love series and can be read as a standalone. Jade thinks she has to fix everything on her own, but Noah proves to her again and again that he’ll always be there. There’s plenty of steam, a sweet happily ever after, and enough drama to keep things interesting!

Her Rugged Cowboy is an Older Man/Younger Woman Romance and is the 1st in the Roped in Love series. It has 11 chapters with an epilogue and is about Noah and Jade.

Jade is back in town after her father dies. It’s been 4 years since she’s seen Noah.

They both fall pretty quickly, but they both hesitate for different reasons.

Noah knows she’s his,just takes him a minute to make his move as she’s dealing with alot.

She’s going through a lot, dealing with her father’s death, the way he treated her, the town judging her, trying to keep the ranch going, her ex boss and her feelings for Noah.

Steam hits later in the story, lots of steam when it hits. It’s been over 8 years for him and she’s a virgin.

This story flows well, which makes for a fast, easy read. I loved it. Kept my interest start to finish.

Great read. No cheating between mcs-his ex cheated on him off page, no ow drama, om drama-her ex boss shows for a second and attacks her, no separations once they are together.

Epilogue is only a couple of weeks out on their wedding day and finding out they are pregnant.

I do wish for it to be further out, but it was still really good and I’m sure we’ll see them in the rest of the series.

The little glimpse of the next story definitely makes me want to read it.
