Blurb: Seven years ago, if someone had asked, I knew where my life was going. I had my family, my girl and my career all planned out.
In one night, my heart was shattered, and I knew my life would never be the same.
I existed. Went through the motions, hiding how broken I was, by losing my future.
Then one day, my future resurfaces. But she is bringing a little secret with her and it is going to change everything.
I thought I knew everything. Turns out, I know nothing.
Time to reclaim what was never really lost and bring my heart back to life, once and for all.
This Jorgensen knows how to set his girl ablaze. He might just do it to you too.
Buckle up! Daddy’s going to take good care of you. As usual this is safe, hot AF and will leave you wanting more.
Welcome back to Bleak Minnesota!!
May be spoilers:
Troy is the 5th in The Jorgensen Legacy series. I’ve read them out of order, so I do believe this can be read as a standalone. This has 11 chapters with an epilogue and is about Troy and Lissette.
A second chance love story! I love these when there are no others for either, which I think is pretty great.
Troy and Lissette were happily in love before she was gone for 7 years. Thankfully, all the time apart happened off page.
They are brought back together right off the bat for her father’s funeral. Her story is heartbreaking.
Neither have quit loving the other and neither have been with anyone else.
He’s very pissed in the beginning. Moves very fast. She definitely had a good reason and came back as soon as she was able.
He takes her right away and when she tells him everything, he leaves cause he was so upset, but only leaves for a few hours to calm down and talk to his brother.
Can feel the emotions, even though I wasn’t fully connected with the characters.
No real drama, just them getting back together, dealing with family. Couple steamy scenes. No cheating, no ow/om drama, no separation once they see each other again-7 years.
Epilogue is 7 months later. They are happily married with their daughter and giving birth to a son. Definitely wish the epilogue was a little further out, but it was still good. I gave it 3.5 out of 5 stars. Thanks for reading. Hope you check it out.
