I’m definitely what you would call a free spirit. Always taking risks, visiting exotic places, and never staying too long in one place. Until I meet the one man that makes me want to give it all up. The question is can I let myself fall and trust he will be there to catch me? And what happens when my past comes back to haunt me and I’m left with a choice to stay and be happy or run to keep them all safe?
I knew she was mine the moment I saw her picture stapled to a file. Now the challenge is convincing her of all that. This strong willed, free spirited, beautiful woman lit up my dark life instantly. Then she gave me a Son. Life couldn’t get any better. Or so I thought. My moon left without a word and took my soul with her. No one or nothing is going to stand in the way of me Finding What’s Mine!
May be spoilers:
Finding What’s Mine is the 2nd in the Hound Search & Rescue series. Has 11 chapters with an epilogue and is about Irish and Luna. I do recommend reading the first as it’s a continuing storyline and we met both in that one. Chapter 1 starts right where Handling What’s Mine ended.
I love that in both books the prologue tells us how the guys all came to meet and come together, which I think is great. I love the world building.
So, just a recap. Luna is pregnant and was kidnapped for months. Irish and the guys have been searching for her and she was found with Doll from the first story. She is amazing. I just loved her sassiness. Push/pull happened off page.
Irish, I loved him. He was all in with Luna and her son from the first look of her picture. He’s head over heels for her.
So the beginning of this one, we know she’s been stabbed and they are trying to save her and the baby.
Irish, he is amazing. He took to their son right off the bat, which was so sweet.
She runs to protect her family cause her one night stand found her and he won’t stop. She’s gone just over 2 weeks before Irish gets to her.
So the baby sperm donor is really the only drama there is, but it’s a lot. Randi is dealt with in the beginning, so we didn’t have to deal with her at all.
Great read I thought. I love that we got to see Shadow and Doll from the first story. I really, really wanted to see them a little further out.
I loved them both, but Irish, I really loved him.
So far, the men of this series falls head over heels for their women and there are no others for them. Also, we haven’t had to see any of the future heroes with other women, so I’m loving this series.
You can definitely feel the emotions of the characters, which I loved. At the end, they are engaged and pregnant. No cheating, no ow drama, om drama-mentioned above, 2 week separation.
Epilogue is just a set up for the next story, which is Freya and Hawk’s. I definitely want to read Hawk’s story. He’s very interesting and I know his story is going to be heartbreaking, but it sounds like hers is going to be too. Can’t wait for the next.
I gave this one 🌟🌟🌟🌟
