James Stork has been watching Emily Miller for over two years now. She’s twenty years his junior and has dealt with so much loss. Her life was thrown upside down, and staying in the background, he’s tried his hardest to help guide her. He gave her a job, made sure her apartment was paid for, and everyone knows to keep an eye on her, but not to get too close.

James has been taking care of her for a couple years now without her knowledge. He’s been in love with her and knew with her losing her parents, that she would need some time.

We don’t have to wait that 2 years, thankfully.

She’s a virgin and thankfully, he’s been celibate since meeting her.

There was only a blip of drama when she finds out how much he’s done for her, but it was over quickly, which I loved.

I love how much he loves her. It was a little crazy, but he just wanted to make sure she didn’t have to worry about anything, except for healing.

Good read. Flowed well, which made for a fast read.

No cheating, no ow/om drama, no separations.

Epilogue is 10 years out. They are happily married with 4 kids and pregnant.
